One word photo challenge – “Snow”

Here’s our contribution to Jennifers One word Challenge for this week. We hope you enjoy it.

Glendhu Bay is part of the Te Araroa trail. In May 2015, we were checking out the area in preparation for walking the South Island part later this year. During our visit, winter arrived overnight. Despite the gales and raging snow storms covering the Mt Aspiring National Park for days at a time, the sky’s were blue.
